After wrapping their tour at Nannup Music Festival in 2020, Austral-Canadian folk-pop trio Belle Miners found themselves with fresh tracks, brand new fans, and awards for their latest single ‘Cradle to Caves’ from Cygnet Folk Festival. Festival favourites known for their lush harmonies, genuine stories and witty stage banter, Belle Miners enjoyed packed audiences at every venue.
The international collaboration formed while touring Australia as a duo and opening solo act and for four years, the band existed only on Australian soil. One member is based in Broome, WA (Jaime Jackett), and the other two (Felicia Harding, Marina Avros) on Vancouver Island, Canada. Drawing on long-term musical relationships the band has thrived despite the seemingly impossible distance, touring Western Europe, Canada and Australia.
Their debut album 'Powerful Owl' was released in November 2017 to much acclaim with the album premiering on The Music.com.au with the AU Review writing, “Powerful Owl... an album we’ve come across in recent weeks and have been struck by ... “Night Flight” is already a winner in our eyes”. East of 8th, Nashville, called the album ''Festive folk pop at it's finest''
Finally after years of forced silence, they are back to celebrate the release of their latest EP ‘Dandelion’ with a reunion tour.
